I really must get more organised in posting these blogs! Latest update on the pylon campaign is that Powys County Council is fighting with us and the Welsh government and Westminster are blaming one another. The tide is turning
Any way more interesting stuff - the fields of silage have been cut and baled. The cows are not enjoying the sunny weather. Talking of cows the first lot of pure Hereford beef will be ready in the Autumn

23rd May Update for Dolgead Hall Caravan and Lodge Park

Hello,
Whitsun bank holiday is approaching fast. Hopefully we are getting all of the stormy weather out of the way. The Celididh band should be good fun, I think there is a quiz on over the week end as well.
Federer the bull goes out on the 1st of June, he is starting to look like a proper bull now!!
Keep an eye on the news over the next few days, hopefully we will get some press coverage of the demo in Cardiff.

Hello,
Sorry it has been a while since my last blog, bank holidays, pylon wars and caravan shows seem to get in the way!!
The weather was superb over the bank holiday week ends, lets hope this is the start of summer.
We have arranged a ceilidh band for the barn dance on the 28th May, so be sure to bring your dancing shoes.
I attached a link to a selection of pictures which are displayed around the games room - Philip says you can tell they're a girls choice!
Cattle update - we have had four sets of twins, 3 sets are alive, so the bull must be doing his job. Talking of which, Federer the bull will be out doing his stuff in the next couple of weeks.
Finally a big thank you to everyone in their NG and SP form filling efforts - our fight is gaining momentum!

Tench at Dolgead Hall

We released Tench in to the bottom pond last week - happy fishing. The trout for the fly fishing on the river should be coming any day.
The calves are doing well with more to come.

April Update at Dolgead Hall Caravan and Lodge Park

April so far has brought a few showers, but atleast the grass will start growing.

We seem to have lots of calves being born, in 24 hours last week we had 5! Please see the slide show attached for some cute photos. We are bottle feeding the last lot of twins so they are pretty tame.

Owners are more than welcome to come and see the calves.

Twin calves

Just had the second lot of twin calves born this spring, the girls have christened them Adam and Eve!  Thankfully it looks like this pair are going to survive - hurray.
Daffodils are a vibrant yellow, sky is blue and the sun is shining. I'm so glad winter has gone.
